Petra is an incredible (literally) place. Almost all the buildings are carved from / into the sandstone cliffs. We spent a long day hiking through the spectacular scenery and buildings.

The Inca fortress at Sacsayhuaman is an amazing feat of engineering, with huge stones that fit together perfectly. This shot gives a sense of place while abstracting the forms.

This pensive, possibly sad woman testing in Cuzco is a nice portrait.

During several of the workshops I attended in Santa Fe, there were often classic car and hot rod shows around the plaza. I like the colors, symmetry and design of this shot.

In Santa Fe the adobes are an almost perfect color complement to the blue sky. I liked the composition of shapes and colors of this one..

The backlit sunflower really glowed against the shadowed adobe wall. Looks surreal, but that's what it looked like.
